Saudi Customs successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle 1,370 bottles of alcoholic beverages through King Abdulaziz’s port in Dammam.
Customs said the amount seized was found professionally hidden in a shipment of iron rolls wrapped with alcoholic beverages.
She said the seizure was carried out in cooperation and coordination with the police in the eastern region and that the two recipients, who were of two Arab nationalities, had been arrested.
