A new report revealed a specific type of application that could spread viruses on Android phones, which should be avoided by users of the most popular operating system devices in the world.
Top 10 VPN has tested several VPN applications available on the Google App Store to detect major flaws.
According to the report, the experiment found that 27 applications out of 150, or 18% of virtual network applications, contained disruptive and harmful software for phones.
The study also revealed that 25% of these applications use a system to identify the address of the phone holder, which threatens users if this information is transmitted to hackers or anyone who abuses it.
Despite the "serious" report that revealed the flaws in these applications, most of them have not been removed from the Google Store, acquired by users' apps on Android phones.
