The brother and brother of citizen Saad Khalaf al-Mutairi died Monday morning to the victims of the Ethiopian disaster in Addis Ababa to know the bodies of their loved ones and follow-up procedures, according to the Saudi ambassador to Ethiopia.
Ambassador Abdullah al-Arjani said that the uncle and the brother of al-Mutairi had not been removed, but that the body identification procedures had been postponed to Tuesday, the time that the Ethiopian authorities have completed the collection of evidence and conducted the investigation.
He stressed that he was in constant contact with the Ethiopian security authorities to know all the information available and that the embassy was following the developments of the situation with interest and was providing all the help necessary to members of the family of the deceased to facilitate their mission and transfer the body to the Kingdom.
Al-Mutairi died Sunday as a result of the crash of an Ethiopian airliner on a Boeing 737, killing 149 and eight crew members.
