Today (Tuesday), the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAA) announced the establishment of 6 health data governance and management offices in the Kingdom.
During his participation in the Riyadh Global Health Technology Summit 2021, the President of the Authority, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, explained that the aim is to improve the quality of health data and to discuss the possibility of sharing it with entrepreneurs, innovators and emerging companies.
He pointed out that the health data governance offices include the Ministry of Health, the Saudi Health Council, the Health Insurance Council, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, the General Food Authority and drugs and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
