The Kingdom opened Thursday its consulate in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, in the presence of the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Majid al-Qasabi, head of the Saudi part of the joint coordination council between the two countries, and Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hakim.
Dr. Majid al-Qasabi raised the Kingdom's flag in front of the consulate building during a ceremony attended by a number of senior Iraqi officials and members of the Saudi and Iraqi parties serving on the Coordinating Council.
