The Ministry of Information's government communications center on Saturday unveiled an unmanned ground vehicle designed by Saudi engineers to serve Saudi forces stationed at the southern border of the kingdom, participating in the Saudi pavilion at Idec Electronics.
For its part, the representative of the advanced electronics company, Abdul Aziz Hussein, said that the UGV vehicle uses an integrated system controlled by one person to perform the task on multiple screens indicating the state of health of the vehicle or several vehicles directly on the battlefield.
He added that the vehicle was armored and bulletproof at a speed of 30 km / h and that it was operating within 700 km of the "Electric-Diesel" engine, a multipurpose vehicle meeting the operational requirements of each user of land forces or special forces or intrusion.
Its low noise level ensures easy and without warning access to the enemy's presence zones. The main advantage of the vehicle is that it can be integrated into a mine scanner and then launched to scan the front lines, whose manufacture and development took a year by advanced electronics engineers.
