A member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mutlaq, responded to a survey about the decision to pray in the courtyards of cemeteries and near their gates.
Al-Mutlaq said during one of the episodes of “Fatwas” on the “Saudi Arabia” channel, that if the cemetery is large, a person can pray inside the fence at the gate or in the the room designated for the caretaker.
He pointed out that praying between graves is forbidden and not allowed, but it can be replaced by prayer on the wall and so on.
