Shura Council spokesman, Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhanna, said that the recommendation of Board member Dr. Iqbal Drandari, who asked to study the reasons for the delay in the activation of the Supreme Court's decision that women should not be forced to obtain parental consent when they provide services to them, the Council has not made a decision on them.
He said in a statement to the Council Sunday that the proposals and recommendations of the members of the Council were being discussed in order to make a rational decision, in accordance with the majority in the Council and in the public interest of the homeland and the citizens.
He underlined the gratitude of the members of the Shura Council for their efforts to submit proposals in accordance with Article 23 or their additional recommendations on topics considered by the Council.
