The Shura Council on Wednesday approved a list of public tastes, which includes imposing sanctions on people who violate the value system and the ethical community in public places, whether by word or behavior.
The regulation imposes sanctions on people who wear indecent clothing, or who wear words or images that defame modesty and public taste, and impose penalties for writing and painting on walls, unless they are not allowed.
The regulation also penalizes violations of public taste and the system of moral values of the community that occur in public places or in the houses of God, or that fall into the space of the media and electronic media, and doubles the sanction for repeated violations.
