Data from the General Authority of Statistics revealed the departure of about one million expatriates from the labor market in the Kingdom by the end of 2018.

The labor market bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2018 indicated that the number of public and private sector expats reached 9 million and 429,000 by the end of 2018, compared to 10 million and 417,000 at the end of 2017, or 988,000 the labor market during this period (men and women).

While the total number of citizens and citizens in the labor market (public and private sectors), 3 million and 111,000 employees by the end of 2018, compared with 3 million and 163,000 employees by the end of 2017, which means the output of about 52,000 citizens and citizens of the labor market during this period.

The number of citizens looking for a job at the end of 2018, to reach 970,200 citizens and citizens, compared with 1,086 million researchers and job seekers by the end of 2017.
