He added that the percentage of prepaid subscriptions was 68.8%, while the percentage of paid subscriptions "postpaid" was 31.2%.
He pointed out that the number of subscriptions to broadband services via mobile networks reached 29.15 million, with a penetration rate of 89.5%, while the number of subscriptions to fixed telephony services reached 3.12 million subscribers, a penetration rate of 31.8%.
He pointed out that the number of broadband subscriptions through fixed telecommunication networks reached 1.90 million, with a penetration rate of 33.7% for households, compared to 93.3% for households. 10 to 74 years old.
It reviewed the financial indicators for the telecommunications sector, where total revenues of telecommunication service providers amounted to 73.3 billion riyals at the end of 2018 and the market value of telecommunications companies increased. of $ 62 billion by the end of 2018.
