Police in the Eastern Region have announced the arrest of an Egyptian visitor who had performed cosmetic operations on camels that would alter their birth specifications to increase their value on sale.

The official spokesperson for the Eastern Region Police, Lt. Col. Muhammad Al-Shehri, explained that the inference procedures in the police in Al-Ahsa Governorate, in coordination with the police in Riyadh and in cooperation with the Camel Club, have identified the newcomer, who is in his forties.

Lt. Col. Al-Shehri added that the expatriate had also been seized with certain tools and preparations used in such operations, and first legal measures had been taken against him and he had been referred to the competent authority.
