The general presidency of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque revealed six goals for colored plastic mattresses in the squares of the Great Mosque and its interior walls.
Nayef al-Juhdli, the head of the cleaning and carpet department at al-Masjid al-Haram, said the plastic walkers were divided into three different colors, noting that the length of the walkway was 12 meters, the width varying between half a meter and a meter.
He pointed out that each of the walkways had a specific location in the Holy Mosque: the Beige was used for the enlargement, the Green for Ismaïl, the Silver in the yard, in addition to all places.
According to Mecca, bridges are meant to identify pedestrians, identify sites in color, help the elderly, avoid slippage, assist the soles when walking without shoes and cover snails to prevent and isolate odors.
