Former Air Force Commander Ambassador Asaad Al-Zuhair died yesterday (Saturday) at the age of 92.
The deceased was prayed after the dawn prayer today (Sunday), and his body was buried in Our Mother Hawa cemetery in Jeddah.
Al-Zuhair was born in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah in 1929, and held a number of managerial positions, progressively from the rank of lieutenant pilot to the commander of the Saudi Air Force, until he ” he was promoted to the rank of a team and appointed commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force for the period (1972-1979), then the royal decree was issued to appoint him extraordinary ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he served as the guardian’s ambassador of the two holy mosques in Pakistan.
