The guardian of two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday launched four major projects in the city of Riyadh, at a cost of 86 billion riyals, including: King Salman Park, Riyadh Green, the sports track and the 39, Art of Riyadh.
An official statement said that the preparation of studies and designs for the four projects, which should be implemented in the second half of 2019, is under way.
The four projects that underlie Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman aim to double Riyadh's per capita green area by 16 times by creating the world's largest urban gardens and raising more than 7.5 million trees in any the city.
It aims to strengthen the cultural and artistic aspects by creating a wide range of museums, theaters, galleries, cinemas and art academies and transforming Riyadh into an open exhibition filled with creative works through the implementation of 1,000 teachers and works of art.
The objectives of these projects include: Encouraging people to practice a variety of sports and healthy lifestyles by establishing a 135-kilometer track that connects the east end of the city to the west, including amateur cycling tracks and professionals, horses, walking trails, sports and cultural centers. .
The four projects should contribute to the creation of 70,000 new jobs for citizens and a total investment of 50 billion RS, including residential, hotel, office, educational, health, sports, recreational and commercial projects.
