The Geological Survey announced today (Wednesday) the discovery of fossils in the province of Wadi al-Dawasir, south of Riyadh.
The fossils indicate that there are giant algae of a unique shape, with a length of 1.25 meters and a diameter of 0.63 meters.
The shape of the giant alga is similar to that of trees. She was discovered at the top of the Al-Oujayd group, pointing out that it dates back to the Devonian era between 370 and 420 million years ago.
