The Saudi Health Council has clarified 3 important pieces of information about vaccines, indicating that the vaccine contains dead or weak bacteria or viruses that do not have the capacity to cause disease.

The council said in an awareness leaflet that vaccines are given to a person so that they stimulate the body’s immune system to recognize them, and the body makes antibodies that recognize the microbe early on.

He added that it forces the body to fight off the microbe if it enters again and prevents the onset of diseases.
