The Ministry of the National Guard, in a statement, revealed the reality of what had been distributed, about the existence of unused and vacant housing in the residential towns of the ministry.
The spokesman of the ministry explained that after the visit of the Minister of the National Guard in one of the residential towns and informed him of the complaints of the inhabitants and their observations, he formed a Emergency Committee on 7/5/1440 H, went to all residential towns and followed the observations and the working mechanism.
He added that the committee had recommended the development of management of "residential cities" to support the maintenance and distribution of villas for affiliates to an electronic system, as well as the distribution of a large group of villas homes in trouble after the completion of maintenance work, and activate the internal control role to monitor the execution of maintenance contracts.
He pointed out that, on the basis of these recommendations, the Minister of the National Guard took into account the absence of a system of officials and employees and put the emphasis on the 39, lifestyle improvement in residential cities, according to the program "Quality of Life", one of the programs of the 2030 kingdom.
He pointed out that 417 housing villas were not suitable for housing and that, according to the minister's guidelines, 77 villas had been rehabilitated and equipped. Among them, 61 villas in the residential city of King Abdulaziz in Khashm al-Aan and 16 villas in the city of King Saud in Direab were all delivered to beneficiaries.
