News 24 The Supreme Court has issued 12 guidelines to improve the performance of government agencies and strengthen control of public funds

The Supreme Court has approved 12 directives issued by the Council of Ministers for government bodies, guaranteeing control of public funds and strengthening the level of public services provided.

Cabinet directives were based on the processing of the 57th annual report of the Office of General Audit on the results of audits of financial statements and performance audits of public bodies reporting to the Office of the Auditor General.

The directives of the Council of Ministers approved by the High Commissioner are as follows:

1- Provide assurance to all government agencies to provide the Office of General Audit with a copy of their final accounts.

2 – Confirmation of all government agencies to send the accounts of monthly documents to the Office of Public Control within the deadlines set by the system.

3 – Assure all government agencies to send all original supporting documents to the Office of General Audit.

4 – Emphasize that all government agencies must comply with the provision of copies of original contracts and all related documents within two weeks of the date of conclusion of these contracts.

5 – Insist on government agencies to place purchases and homogeneous business in a general competition and non-fragmentation.

6 – Emphasize that not all government agencies should contract with companies for the simple recruitment and supply of personnel.

7 – Emphasize that all government agencies must create investment sites willing to invest in public auctions.

8 – Confirm to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs the inventory of advertisements and billboards for the stores and the collection of fees owed to them, and include it in the terms of contracts with investors.

9- Emphasize that the Ministry of Health and government agencies provide health services by providing the necessary medical staff to hospitals to ensure the provision of appropriate health services to patients, by speeding up the repair and maintenance of the systems and faulty medical devices that are punishable by fines for non-contracted medical maintenance service providers. Medical devices are being replaced by new, often disrupted, devices that are unavailable to provide health services to patients.
