Dima Al-Athel, IBM’s business development manager for data and artificial intelligence, described the stages she went through during her career to reach a high-level position in the global company.
She explained, when she met on “Al-Nashra” on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, that her passion for electronics had prompted her to study computer science and work in the field of technical support, pointing out that she was looking to continue working in the field of artificial intelligence after completing masters and doctoral studies.
She added that the experiences and expertise she went through qualified her to join the IBM team, explaining that her tasks consist of working with the beneficiaries and ensuring their readiness to work on projects of artificial intelligence, data preparation and the steps to follow to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
She indicated that she considers her participation in the Kingdom’s delegation to the United Nations to review and present the report on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination as an important diplomatic experience, especially since it gave her the opportunity to participate with different sectors to represent the country.
