The Director General of Traffic in the Kingdom, General Mohammed al-Bassami, stated that the electronic objection to traffic offenses would be limited to unpaid offenses and would not accept offenses paid before the launch of the electronic objection service.
Al-Bassami indicated that the response to requests for electronic objection would be made within 7 working days, specifying that the Directorate General of Traffic had chosen Qassim to apply the electronic objections at first, in order to measure the quality procedures and how it works.
He pointed out that the size of the data in the regions of Riyadh, Mecca and Sharqiya is very large. The choice of Qassim as medium range area will be followed by other areas gradually after the governance of the procedure and to ensure the maturity of the experience.
