An academic and a faculty member from a university in the Kingdom volunteered to participate in this year’s Hajj and work as a security guard, among 1,000 security guards who carry out their work during Hajj days, in Mina .
Abu Abdullah – who began his mission at the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijjah – said during an interview with Al-Akhbariya in “An-Nahar Newspaper” that he wanted his presence first to serve the pilgrims, and it is a great honor for every citizen, praising God for giving him this opportunity.
The academician explained that he will work with dedication and sincerity in this task, and his example is the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, who carried stones during the construction of the Noble Prophet’s mosque.
He said he also wanted to convey to his students and children a message that work is not a fault in any area, but simply serving your religion and your country, and saying listen and obey the leaders.
