The spokesman of the water branch of Madinah Mohammed al-Tasi explained the lack of validity of the rumors about the issue of bills to subscribers up to 50 000 riyals in some houses.
He attributed the rise of some bills to the presence of leaks in the ground and in the upper tanks of homes, as well as defects in buoys and connections, according to the newspaper "Okaz" which was the subject of an investigation into certain complaints received from citizens and found leaks in their homes.
He pointed out that "water" deals with the objections of participants when a team is sent to make sure there are no leaks at home and that 39; in case of confirmation of the absence of defect, the account of the subscriber will be corrected immediately.
He explained that the withdrawal of some subscriber meters was due to their refusal to pay bills and accumulate them for years, or not to update their data, noting that the meter removal process is taking place in last step after several steps and procedures and sending warnings to the subscriber and his trust.
