Today (Tuesday) Education Minister Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh responded to a question about the continuity of distance education or whether it will be in educational institutions in second half of this year 1442 AH.
Al-Sheikh said, welcoming him in the “Fourth Newsletter” on the “Al-Arabiya” channel, that the ministry until now has not determined this, stressing that it is ready for all scenarios possible.
He added that the ministry will determine in the coming days the decision to study remotely or in attendance in the second semester, through a joint committee with the Ministry of Health, and this decision will be announced in due course.
It is reported that the Minister today praised the Kingdom’s advanced results in the TIMES tests for science and mathematics, compared to the results of 2015.
