A citizen managed to save a girl with a mental illness who tried to harm herself by taking the Makkah-Jeddah Highway, putting her life and that of motorists at risk.
Ali al-Sheikhi, the savior of the girl, said that he had noticed that this one was reckless amid the vehicles after the passage of Al-Shumaisi on the road connecting Mecca to the road from Jeddah.
Sheikhi explained that the girl had accelerated the pace before she could save her and handed her over to the security authorities so that she would take steps to improve her situation.
