The security authorities arrested a lawyer who was hiding in plain sight, thus avoiding the execution of a prison sentence handed down by the Jeddah court of execution, for delaying the return of the lawyer. one million riyals to a client of his office.
The court, according to "Okaz", rendered a judgment obliging the lawyer to return the said amount and his imprisonment in case of non-payment, as well as the procedure of arrest and deposit at the police station in order to his return to the prosecution.
It should be noted that the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency stated, after addressing the court, that there were no funds to cover the required amount in the executor's accounts against him and that he had to apply the sentence of executive detention against him until payment of the amount.
