The Consumer Protection Association has clarified the conditions to be met when importing old cars and spare parts of the occasion.
The association said that it is allowed to import old cars provided that they are not less than 30 years old, provided that the term "archaeological acquisition" is included in the customs card.
She specified that it is forbidden to seize used spare parts, with the exception of the transmission and the engine, differential and external bodies.
It must be clean, leave no residue and be marked "refurbished" in a non-removable manner. The importer must provide a declaration of conformity to the specifications and a warranty of the part for at least three months.
