Prince Badr bin Farhan, Governor of the Royal Commission for the Governor of Al-Ula, began Wednesday implementation of the development of Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz Airport "Al-Ula Airport which should be completed before the end of 2019.
He also asked the governor of the Authority to launch the development project of the Maraya Theater in Al-Ula, which is expected to be completed during the current year. This project will be developed in parallel with the airport of Al-Ola, in accordance with international standards.
ARCEP has announced that the project aims to increase the number of visitors received each year to 400,000 visitors instead of 100,000, to improve the front of the airport, to set up new systems and facilities, and to create a new VIP lounge.
Al Ola airport will also be developed as part of the first phase of the project to accommodate more aircrafts and a new digital information system will be set up in the arrival and departure lounges, whose plans internal and external will be developed.
