The second Arab Regional Conference will be held on 6-7 March in Cairo under the title "Effective use of oil, gas and related industries in Arab countries … towards an effective vision of joint Arab action". The conference will be held under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Arab Organization for Administrative Development, and with the participation of a number of experts, officials and field researchers from several Arab countries.

Adel Al-Saqer, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Extractive Industries, said the conference would address a number of issues related to oil and gas affairs and opportunities for action.
