The first flight of pilgrims from Malaysia arrived Sunday at King Abdulaziz International Airport of Jeddah on the first day of the 1441 AH Omrah season.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Wazzan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, said that the electronic services provided by the ministry contributed significantly to facilitating the procedures for obtaining the visa, in full integration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Wazzan added that the Hajj and Umrah Ministry had completed all preparations to receive pilgrims and visitors, who are expected to reach 10 million pilgrims this year.
He pointed out that the Ministry had started to implement its operational plan for Umrah season in cooperation with all partners of the Umrah service system, in line with the approach adopted by the Ministry to move work seasonal at work throughout the year.
