The General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection (MEPA) has announced the approval by His Highness of the appointment of Mr. Abdulrahman Bin Sulaiman Al Tariqi as Director General of the General Authority of Meteorology and the protection of the environment.
Al-Tariqi earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University in 1986.
He was also Adjunct Professor at Riyadh Technical College and Visiting Professor at Majmaah University. He was then advisor to the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
