News of the day to know the happiest and most sad Arab countries in 2019

Finland ranks among the happiest countries in the world, according to the World Happiness Report, published on March 20, in conjunction with the World Day of Happiness celebrations.

The World Happiness Report is published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network on March 20.

The report ranks countries according to six key variables mainly related to well-being: income, freedom, confidence, life expectancy, social support and generosity.

Denmark, Norway, Iceland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden followed Finland, reaffirming Scandinavian control on the annual list.

At the Arab level, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates ranked first on the international happiness ladder, followed by Bahrain and Kuwait.

On the other hand, the ranking of South Sudan, which ranked last among 156 countries, was immediately followed by Central Africa, Afghanistan, Tanzania and Rwanda.

On the Arab front, Yemen came last, ahead of Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Tunisia.
