The housing program of the Ministry of Housing announced the delivery of 9717 free land beneficiaries during the month of August.
The program explained that 9717 lots had been distributed in different parts of the Kingdom for the start of construction work.
He pointed out that the handover included 2320 plots of land reserved for eligible citizens in the Mecca region, in addition to 823 lands in the Riyadh region, and that 827 citizens had been handed over to Al-Jawf and that 76 citizens had received their free land at Hail.
He pointed out that in the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, 829 lands were ceded, 143 citizens received free land in the Al-Baha region and that the program provided 2896 residential land in the Asir region, 644 citizens of the Jazan region received free land and 5 citizens in Najran.
In the eastern province, 336 free residential land was delivered, while 679 citizens of Qassim received free land and 139 parcels were delivered to beneficiaries in the northern border region.
He pointed out that procedures for the sale of open land continued in the Ministry of Housing of several governorates, with areas ranging from 450 to 527 m2 per room, after the beneficiaries had completed the reservation procedures and selected the appropriate diet.
