News Royal Order: Falih removed from office and Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman appointed Minister of Energy

The Royal Order reads as follows:

We are Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

King of Saudi Arabia

After reviewing the basic law of the Government, published by the Royal Decree No. (A / 90) of 27/8/1412 AH.

After study of the Council of Ministers, published by Royal Order No. (A / 13) of 03/03/1414 AH.

And having read the Royal Decree No. A / 163 of 25/7/1438 AH.

And having examined the Royal Decree No. (A / 138) of 20/04/1440 AH.

And having examined the Royal Decree No. (A / 472) of 29/12/1440 AH.

He ordered us to come:

First: HE Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh, Minister of Energy, is relieved of his duties.

Secondly: HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is appointed Minister of Energy.

Third: this order must be communicated to the competent authorities for approval and execution.
