The Royal Order confirmed that this step was aimed at modernizing the city of Riyadh in all areas corresponding to its position as the capital of the Kingdom and replacing it with the special status that we wish.
The Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh is composed of the following members: Prince of the Riyadh Region, Minister of the Interior, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Minister of Commerce and of Investment, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, President of the National Water Company and Minister of Water Finance.
