The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies announced that the screening of the international film "Born as a King" will begin Thursday, September 26 in the cinemas of the Kingdom and the Gulf States.
The film speaks of a visit by King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz to Britain in 1919, pointing out that there is a joint production of the Kingdom, England and Wales. from Spain.
He explained that the film talks about the life of King Faisal from his birth in 1906 to his return from England in 1920, from his diplomatic trip at the age of 13 to the British Royal Court and his meeting with the King of England George V and personalities such as Winston Churchill and Lawrence of Arabia.
The Center said the company "Fox Cinema" would project the film in its Kingdom galleries and distribute it in cooperation with other film companies of the Kingdom and the Gulf countries.
The film is directed by the Spanish Agusti Villaronga, written by Badr Al-Samari of the Kingdom, as well as by Rey Loriga and Henry Fritz, with Hermione Corfield, who represented Princess Mary, Ed Screen, who represented Philby, as well as the child Abdullah Ali, who represented Al-Faisal. Saudi Rakan Abdulwahed, who represented the character of King Abdul Aziz, adds to the participation of more than 80 young Saudis in the film.
