According to sources, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs is working on a project to provide identification numbers (barcodes) allowing all animals to track and know about irregular carcasses.
The sources said that the project would aim to give a "barcode" to all animals since their birth in the Kingdom or imported from abroad, the figure including all the information on the animal and the results tests and infected diseases.
According to Okaz, the bar code would be connected to the animal even after its slaughter, which would allow the carcass to be recalled and distributed.
She emphasized that this system would facilitate the work of the health observer and would determine whether the animal was slaughtered in a systematic way or not.
