The General Authority of Statistics announced Saturday night, the ninth day of Dhul Hijjah, the results of the Hajj statistics for this year 1440H.
She explained that the total number of pilgrims reached two million and 489,000 and 406 pilgrims, including one million and 855,000 pilgrims from outside the Kingdom and 634,000 pilgrims in the interior, which represents the percentage of non-Saudi pilgrims in the interior – 67%.
The total number of pilgrims this year exceeds that of pilgrims, an increase of 118,000 pilgrims and pilgrims.
The percentage of pilgrims from outside the Kingdom was as follows: 2% of the Gulf countries, 22% of the rest of the Arab countries, 61% of the non-Arab Asian countries, while the percentage of non-Arab African pilgrims reached 10%, and Europe 4%, in addition to 1% from the Americas and from Australia.
The number of Saudi pilgrims reached 211,000 pilgrims, while the number of pilgrims living in the Kingdom rose to 423,000 pilgrims.
With regard to the number of employees who have been providing services to Rahman's customers this season in all sectors, the total has reached more than 350,000 people, representing more than 47 government and private entities.
