News "Statistics" indicates the percentage of Saudi girls and youngsters never having been married

The General Statistical Authority has published a special report on Saudi youth on the occasion of World Youth Day 2019, which falls on August 12 each year.

The report pointed out that the percentage of young men and women who had never been married in the age group (15-34 years) was 65%, where the report specified in the case of the sexes that 73.8 % of men had never been married, while the percentage of those married 25.6%, and divorced 0.6%.

While the percentage of single women in the age group (15-34) was 56%, that of married women was 42.1% and that of divorced women in this age group was 1.7% and widows 0.2%.

The report shows that the percentage of Saudis in the age group (15-34 years) is 36.7% of the total population of Saudi Arabia, with a proportion of 18.7% men and women 18%.
