News Steni citizen arrested after shooting in Al-Nahda neighborhood, east of Riyadh

Riyadh police arrested a citizen during his sixth decade in connection with a shootout outside a house in Al-Nahda neighborhood, east of Riyadh.

Riyadh police spokesman Lt. Col. Shaker Al-Tuwaijri said that security services received last Wednesday several reports of gunfire in the Nahda district of East of Riyadh, the capital.

He added that the security patrol teams from the Riyadh region had taken up their duties, that the site had been identified and that a number of empty envelopes had been found in front of one of the houses where a special celebration had taken place.

He pointed out that the citizen had been arrested and that the effects raised on the site had been resumed and that all the legal proceedings had been initiated against him.

He pointed out that the Riyadh police announced this to confirm the concern of the Ministry of the Interior to ensure the security of his country, citizens and residents, and that the security services would work to implement the regulation with force, firmness and rigor.
