Al-Samari explained that the idea of ​​writing the film had started in 2015, when he had met the international producer Andreas Gomez, who dreamed of producing a film about King Faisal, in order to make the film a reality. embody and present the leaders of British cinema, as happens in Hollywood, Cairo and the capitals of international cinema.

After several discussions, he agreed with Gomez that King Faisal's trip to Britain 100 years ago, at the age of 13, was well suited to making a film, for several reasons, including the fact that the trip had a global impact at that time, in addition to the importance of its time. .

According to "Arab Net", he stressed that the idea had been presented to the sons of the deceased king and that she was receiving support from the Kingdom and the sons of King Faisal, represented by the Center of 39, studies and research of King Faisal.

He pointed out that the character of King Faisal needed more than a film, that he was a charismatic figure and that he had lived the early stages of the founding of the Kingdom and had witnessed its rise, as well as the stage of his reign, marked by historical decisions.

Al-Samari said the film had lasted three years and that it was classified in the historical drama category. It is a feature film, which preserves as much as possible the authenticity of events and personalities.

The King Faisal Center revealed that the date of the public screening of the film Born A King (coeded by the Kingdom, England and Spain) will be late next September and produced by the United States. Spanish Andres Gomez, "Oscar", and directed by the Spanish Agusti Villaronga.
