ExpressiveSaudi Investment Recycling Company, which belongs to the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced that the first phase of construction of Riyadh's first construction waste recycling facility would be scheduled for the end of the year.

General Manager, Jeroen Vincent, said the planned installation would only be the beginning of a series of similar facilities to be launched over the next three years, aimed at recycling all types of waste such as fertilizers, paper, plastics and metals.

According to Bloomberg, recycled waste will be used in housing and infrastructure projects.

In July, the Saudi Recycling Investment Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Waste Management Center and the Municipality of Riyadh to launch recycling activities in Riyadh.
