Al-Khuzam said that they considered him their father after the death of their father in 1976, stating that he had recommended to bury him next to their father in case of death in the kingdom . Yemen, and also the emirate of Hail.

He pointed out that the Yemeni resident owned 6 palm trees, that he gave thanks to God, where he distributed the fruits of these palms to the needy and, on the day of his death, went out as usual, suspended by a rope, before climbing up to the top of the palm tree and during the picking of the fruits.

Al-Khuzam added that one of his sisters had gone to the farm and found Hassan Ayyash under the palm. She called the Red Crescent and was informed of her death. The coroner's report confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack while he was tied to the palm.
