Transport Minister Nabil Al-Amoudi said the move would begin at Al-Haramain station at King Abdulaziz airport in Jeddah next October.
In an interview with "Al-Arabiya" channel, Al-Amoudi said the Ministry of Transport was working with several government agencies, including customs and passports.
He added that the ministry had maintained 400 km of roads and bridges in the Mecca and Medina regions on the occasion of the pilgrimage season and doubled the value of preventive maintenance compared to last season, which increases the safety of the roads during the pilgrimage season and reduces the number of accidents.
