The guardian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, directed the formation of a monitoring committee to fight against corruption.
The directive included the chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission as chair of the committee, the composition of the head of the control and investigation body and the director general of the mabahith.
The committee uses all the means and mechanisms necessary to ensure integrity, eliminate financial and administrative corruption and follow up on all related issues, so as to ensure the early settlement of corruption cases and report to the sanctuary saint on the measures taken in this respect.
Mazen Al-Kahmous, chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, said the directive would contribute to the fight against corruption in all its forms, manifestations and methods, and would increase the level of performance and effectiveness of to achieve the highest degree of protection of integrity and the fight against corruption.
He stressed that leaders act with determination and firmness in the fight against corruption, intolerance of the corrupt and the protection of public money.
