A photoYasser Al-Rumayyan was appointed Monday to the presidency of Aramco to replace Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih.

The Minister of Energy has posted a tweet in which he congratulates Al-Rumayyan on this occasion, pointing out that this appointment is an important step in preparing the company for the public offering.

In addition to his new duties, he is Governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and joined the Aramco Board of Directors in 2016.

He has extensive experience in the financial and banking sectors and has worked in a number of local and international banks, large investment groups and international companies.
