News "Zakat and Income" captures a number of tax offenses in the home furnishings sector

The General Authority for Zakah and Income Tax (GAZT) filed 22 VAT-related offenses during the inspection tours of 86 establishments in the furniture sector.

The Authority said that the most important irregularities seizures were the lack of tax number and the collection of the tax.

In July, the Authority seized 50 tax offenses in the leisure activities sector, some of which consisted of not registering the tax and not registering the tax identification number on the bill.
