Nintendo, an American subsidiary, has filed a lawsuit on the RomUniverse website, claiming up to $ 150,000 in damages for each copyright infringement and $ 2 million for each trademark violation.

RomUniverse offers a subscription of $ 30 a year that allows subscribers to illegally download an infinite amount of illegally generated games (Roma). The site is one of the most active hacking sites for Nintendo games with more than 300,000 game downloads and more than 500,000 3D game downloads.

This is not the first time that Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against hackers and Roma sites.
