No to Turkish and Iranian tutelage over Arabs

[ad_1]

The development of national identities that took root, could not be moved, and sing the (glories) of the past or dream of the return of Persian or Ottoman colonial hegemony would not help, because the peoples and countries of the region, and with it, the international community, will confront it with force.

Arab peoples no longer accept foreign domination under any name, in particular religious. Islam was born and was nurtured among the Arabs, and the Quran came in the language of the Arabs, and it was they who published it and brought it to different parts of the earth, with wisdom and good advice, and if there is any legitimacy for anyone to rule in the name of Islam, it is for the Arabs and not for others. However, the Arabs do not want to dominate anyone, neither in the name of religion nor under any other name.

Erdogan’s Turkey is intervening today militarily in Iraq under the pretext of the presence of the PKK on its lands, and sends its armies to invade Iraq and stay there, and does what it wants under these fragile arguments. If there are active Labor Party cells in Iraq, and this is not certain, since no attack has been recorded against Turkey launched from Iraq, then this mission is an Iraqi mission, and the Turkey should negotiate with the Iraqi state on this matter, instead of sending its army to occupy Iraqi lands. In flagrant violation of sovereignty, neighborhood values and the development of economic relations between the two countries. It is Iraq’s duty to prevent any military threat emanating from its lands to all neighboring countries, and if there is a threat, it should be discussed with the Iraqi government, and when bilateral solutions are delayed. , then the UN can appeal.

Turkey also interferes in Syria with similar arguments, supports some forces against others, kills and destroys all who oppose it, especially the Kurds who suffered from the arbitrariness of the Syrian regime, and are suffering today It is from the Turkish military intervention which imposed pro-Turkish forces on others. Military or political intervention cannot be justified, regardless of the justifications and justifications, because the State which interferes in the affairs of another State hardly recognizes its sovereignty, or it does not respect this sovereignty. , but rather considers itself empowered to determine its own fate and to choose the political system that governs it.

What if Iraq and Syria are neighbors of the new sultanist state of Erdogan, and there may be forced friction between them and Turkey, and they are forced to face and endure its interventions in their country, so what drives the dreamy sultan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to military intervention in Libya, which is located on another continent and belongs to Another Nationality and Another Culture? Are there not behind this intervention aggressive intentions, colonial projects, cultural, political and economic hegemony, not only over Libya, but also throughout the Arab region?

All Arab countries have felt the danger of Turkish intervention in Libya, and Libya in particular, because it is far from Turkey, its culture, its policies and its problems. If distant countries felt this danger, what about Egypt, which has national, cultural, geographic, political and economic ties to the country attached to it? The Egyptian feeling of Turkish danger has its objective, patriotic and national causes. Egypt did not seek to dominate Libya, and this was possible in the past, if Colonel Gaddafi tried to enter into a merger unit with Egypt, since he took power in (Al- Fateh of September) in 1969, but the Egyptians, especially during the time of Presidents Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak. They rejected these proposals and insisted on the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Libya.

And Egypt continues to support the territorial integrity of Libya, through its support for the Libyan National Army led by Lieutenant General Khalifa Haftar, which seeks to unify the country and prevent foreign intervention and control. terrorist militias on him, and these objectives are legitimate and are in the interest of the Arab world, which wants to see a cohesive and stable state in Libya. A terrorist group that seeks to destabilize the region.

The Arab position in favor of Egypt is the correct national and patriotic position. Turkey, which has cut off seas and oceans to interfere in the affairs of a distant Arab country, has not come for the security and stability of Libya, nor to strengthen Libya’s sovereignty over its lands, nor to support Libyan democracy and the Libyan economy, or authority. Legitimacy, not to strengthen Arab unity, but rather to gain a foothold in the Arab world through which it would try to regain its hegemony over the Arab countries liberated from this hegemony a century ago. The Arabs were not previously satisfied or convinced with the rule of the Ottoman Empire, and for this reason, they revolted against it during World War I and sought to establish an Arab state that would take care of the affairs of the Arabs. and rid them of Ottoman arbitrariness.

If Erdogan believes that the Arabs will drink this cup of poison, or that they really “yearn” for the days of the “Ottoman Caliphate”, then he is delusional, and if there are those who are deceiving him by saying that he should not not trust them because they are a misguided few seeking narrow gains. We still remember the tragedies that occurred in the Arab world at the time of this “caliphate” which reigned in the name of Islam, but it imposed no weight on Arabs, civilization, culture and to originality, when their land was the origin of Islam and the cradle of revelation, and their language was the language of the Koran. their lives.

We still remember the stories of our ancestors about the cruelty and greed of this (caliphate), and its crimes, which have a first and not another, against Islam, and the rights of states and nations that have come together. united, by force, illusion or sincere intention, under his banner. Perhaps one of the most heinous crimes, which cannot be digested, in any culture, religion or logic, was that the sultan, on the day he took power, killed his brothers, the children of his mother and father, (to protect the Islamic Caliphate from fighting the brothers on the sultanate’s throne)! Nobody knows where the Ottoman sultans and “caliphs” came from with this defamation and tie it to Islam?

The Egyptian reactions are justified, because Erdogan interfered in Egyptian affairs and supported the rule of the Brotherhood in Egypt, and he did not care about the revolution of the Egyptian people against his rule and the departure of 30 million people. Egyptians, in the biggest protest in history, calling on the president of the Muslim Brotherhood to resign. And when he refused and clung to power, contrary to the demands of the majority of the people, the army was forced to take power, responding to the call of millions of Egyptians unhappy with the rule of the Brotherhood, who presented proof after another that he did not belong to Egypt, its culture and its moral position in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

We have no illusions about Erdogan’s intentions and plans in Libya, and all Arabs are aware of his plans and do not believe his justifications. Its support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and other Arab countries stems from a basic principle, which is that this movement was created in the beginning, yes from 1928, in protest against the fall of the “Ottoman Caliphate In 1924 in the hands of the Turks themselves, this caliphate which was called by the countries of the world at the time. By “the sick man of Europe whose goods must be shared before dying”.

If the Turks themselves did not accept this caliphate and considered it out of history and geography, then they overthrew it and established the “Turkish Republic” in its place, then why did Erdogan and do his new Ottoman supporters expect the Arabs to welcome him to their countries when they have seen nothing but Turkification, discrimination, backwardness, backwardness, arbitrariness and neglect? The reign of the Ottomans was an extension of the dark period following the Mongol control of Baghdad and its overthrow of the Abbasid Caliphate, or what remained of it, and conditions in Arab countries did not improve at all, in no leadership, but rather deliberately neglected Arab culture, except for a short time during the reign of Governor Medhat Pasha in Iraq. , Who established an Arab printing press in 1869 and published the Al-Zawra newspaper.

The best religious reference to describe the Ottoman Caliphate is Sheikh Ali Abd al-Raziq’s book (Islam and Fundamentals of Governance), which was published in 1925 after the Turks overthrew the Ottoman Caliphate, in which he explained that the caliphate is not a religious necessity, and there is no text in the Quran or Sunnah that refers to it, and according to this the Muslims The Quran is free in the kind of government that they want for their country and for themselves. Rather, he said more than that, namely that Islam spread and flourished in the absence of the Ottoman Caliphate, which was based on power and oppression, and that the Khilafah is a bad principle, because no normal person can succeed the prophet sent from God.

The biggest problem in our Arab world is those who accept the Turkish or Iranian role and promote it, and these people, if we think rightly, are motivated by their religious feelings, but if they think a bit and study the history, they will realize that neither Turks nor Iranians are interested in the application of religion or the interests of Muslims. As much as they are interested in dominating the Arab countries and restoring (their glories) previously in the name of Islam and at the expense of the Muslims.

The Iranians have created, trained, armed and deployed dozens of militias in the Arab world in order to prepare for their control over the region, and in the name of Islam as well. Today, these militias face the Iraqi government, launching Katyusha rockets at Iraqi airports, camps, institutions and foreign embassies, kidnapping and killing militants and intellectuals, and forcing officials to sign corrupt contracts, using the arms, wheels, identities, capabilities and money of the state. Can a sane person believe that these militias, and the Iran behind them, are seeking Iraq’s interest? Or is he seeking hegemony in the name of religion and restoring (glories) Iran at the expense of Iraq?

The Arab countries are called upon to take a common and strong position on these threats, which will affect us all one day if we leave the matter to chance. Today, the Arab countries must firmly support Egypt and Iraq to face the dangers of Turkey and Iran. If Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Lebanon are weak in the face of Iranian and Turkish threats, other Arab countries will also be at risk, as they mostly fit into the pattern of Iranian-Turkish rule. We must alert the world to these dangers to global peace and security, as they will redraw the map of the region and the emergence of new religious empires will threaten not only the Arab region, but the rest of the world.

We say to those who dream of restoring (glories) that you will not be able to reach them because there are those who prevent and dissuade you, and the people of the region will not give in to your threats and ambitions. However, you have to admit that saying it alone will not convince them. Arab positions remain disparate on crucial issues. The unified Arab position is the solution to face the fateful challenges.
