A study by the German Diabetes Center found that not having breakfast in the morning increases the risk of diabetes by about a third.
The study, which analyzed data from nearly 100,000 people, found that people who missed breakfast in the morning were at least 33 percent more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, reported the Daily. Mail.
Those who miss the meal at least 4 times a week are 55% more likely to contract the disease than those who do not eat it. Experts believe that the reason is that those who miss breakfast tend to eat a quick meal later in the day.
